ABOUT the cd "STENEN I FORSEN - SONGS FOR TWO PIANOS"
"He shapes, expands and distorts the opening ideas of each piece in a way that his two-in-one approach enables his “Songs for Two Pianos” to become liquid sound-sculptures whose outlines gradually evolve into their definitive shape. This fascinating process of manipulation reaches its acme perhaps in the magnificent Aquarium Life. The CD breathes originality out of every note, forcefully grabbing the listener’s attention, an attention that this project truly, totally deserves."

ABOUT the cd "FÀPMU"
"The game of music resides in the tension between opposing forces, in the precariousness of a balance that is always endeavored, but also always challenged."

ABOUT the cd "HEM LJUS"
"I listened to his CD "Hem Ljus", and I can say that I like it a lot. I find it interesting and with very varied ideas, which consoles me, thinking of all those who, as Stravinsky said of Vivaldi, play music all their lives the same concert."
Giancarlo Schiaffini
ABOUT the cd "SUD AMERICA"
"Luigi made a great impression, with his personal style , sometimes romantic, sometimes intensely rhytmhical capable of ranging between introspective meditations and sturdy echoes of Lennie Tristano school ,of tango and of jazz-rock"

ABOUT a pianosolo live concert at "Casa del Jazz" in Rome
"Luigi is part of that small circle of musicians who conceive of jazz as total improvisation and does so with an intellectual honesty that is not too common today. But this would not be enough to make him a high-level artist: in reality Bozzolan combines this moral gift with an extraordinary pianistic prowess supported by long years of study, apprenticeship and an uncommon ability to grasp any stimulus to construct solos worthy of be followed with the utmost attention. And this is what happened at the Casa del Jazz: in front of an audience not particularly familiar with the world of jazz, the pianist, stimulated by Gatto's usual questions, explained with extreme clarity his conception of jazz, why it plays in a certain way and above all he followed the words with music that was at times truly exciting due to the extreme originality of the inspiration. Originality which was highlighted above all in the revival of standards such as “Well you needn't” and “Bemsha swing” by Thelonious Monk, “Latin things” by Ornette Coleman and “Solar” by Miles Davis: in all these cases the standard was only a starting point, a stimulus to go and explore territories that, we are convinced, were unknown to the pianist himself at the very moment he entered them. Given the choice made by Bozzolan to go to study and live in Sweden, a tribute to that land could not be missing and Luigi did it in the most intelligent way by proposing "Emigrantvisa" a song by Jan Johansson who had already anticipated it in the 1960s the "nationalist" turning point that would lead to the birth of the so-called "European jazz" between the 70s and 80s. But that's not all: Bozzolan also provided a sample of his compositional qualities by presenting “Il profumo della mia casa”, “Aquarium life” and “So quiet” all characterized by a cantabile, sweet melodic line.
Overall, a superlative performance!"
